Welllllll....what to say..... FoK is now FAMOUS...for blowing up Zaphods...LITERALLY!! We blew out their electrical system 3 minutes into our set Saturday night (no permanent damage thank the heavens). Spoke with Heath (awesome manager) and Eugene (the man, the legend, the Owner of Zaphods), and this has NEVER happened b4.

We're not quite sure how to feel about this...a little proud perhaps...but mostly huge disappointment that we couldn't share all the hard work we put into the show with the great crowd in attendance. They deserved an awesome show, and we intend to deliver!

To make it up to all those beautiful people from Saturday night, plans are being made right now to give a FREE concert in the near future. Also, because we're not snobs ....Everyone on the planet is invited!!

Fok is proud to announce we're 'bringin' our talents' to the downtown Ottawa market this July 1st Canada Day....6PM @ the one and only ZAPHODS.

The last few weeks have been HECTIC.

We have been working overtime to make our live show great, but that's not all.

Bane and Micah have been designing merch as fast as their little hands will let them. We have 5 styles of T shirts, FOK flag Shot glasses, FOK womens underthings (oh yes we went there!) Multiple CD covers of our EP, and a 3-button package that will make a perfect addition to every bag/shirt/lunchbox.

Micah has been on the phones booking us into show after show, opening for bigger and bigger bands. Last Tuesday, we opened for Carmen Townsend .... and it was a breath of fresh air to hear a female rocker who knows how to really RAWK! FOK HIGHLY recommends you check her out. www.carmentownsend.ca

Next on the docket is GLORYHOUND. Another east coast touring band. Looking forward to that set for sure.

Scott just got his new drum kit in... so expect your ears to never hear the same way again after this saturday at Cafe Dekcuf. We don't have the set time down yet, but when we know... you'll know!

Thanks to all who came out to the live lounge on friday. There was some great bands that played, and hopefully the BMS gets an injection of some alternative rock soon!

Jith Paul from treepot.tv was on the scene to record this show, and a big thank goes out to him. If you're looking for some great quality recordings of local bands, and indie tv shows... I highly suggest checking out his website.

April 28th will be Fall of Knowledge's TV debut! We have been asked to perform an acoustic song for Rogers Daytime Ottawa. www.rogerstv.com/daytimeottawa to check out show times. There will be three opportunities to see the show!

In-between shows all month... somehow we have found some time to work on some merch. Some of you on facebook saw Bane posting up sneak peaks... but the final versions will be announced/released soon! So excited!

While we are on the topic of merch.... there are also some limited edition EP's floating around at shows. It was a limited run of 5 uniquely designed CD's. There are less than 10 left, so make sure if you want em, come get em at the show May 6th @ the live lounge!

And if you havn't been hearing this enough from us.... today is your LUCKY DAY!

May 6th is our live lounge show. Bring a friend or 10... and support FOK! We have been working tirelessly to improve our live show, so you and your friends will be in for a treat! Fall of Knowledge is in the live88.5 BIG $$ SHOT contest!!! For every music fan in the area, bands are performing every thursday and friday night at the LIVE LOUNGE until june. If you love local live music... this is the place to be!!

Today is damp and dreary:(

Normally a day like today would inspire paint to peel, metal to corrode, spines to shiver, joints to ache...

Normally a day like today would inspire me to wall myself up in the studio and make emotionally scarring music... but its springtime. Just as soon as this grey wall of misery disguised as a weather "front" decides to skip town for browner pastures.... we will be engulfed with sunshine (and not the kind you stare at through the window in the middle of winter while bundled in 10 layers of asian textile); Actual sunshine that comes equipped with soul penetrating warmth and the ability to erase the browns and embrace the greens. Actual sunshine that isn't quite strong enough to charcoal your skin, yet magnifies beautifully to burn that ant hill on the sidewalk.

Yessir its springtime!! and tomorrow... it will be one day closer to summer;D
